2008 Eastside Week Contest

The Generals raise $150,082.34 for Camp Spearhead!

WHHS Generals beat Eastside 35 to 28.

The game proved to be an exciting ending to the 30th annual Spirit Week between the two schools. Eastside won the competition by raising $224,575 for Prader-Willi Syndrome Association. Wade Hampton raised $150,082 for Camp Spearhead.

The Wade Hampton High School Alumni Association (WHHSAA) is now being organized.

As we approach WHHS's 50th year anniversary, we welcome the opportunity to celebrate the 'Red and Gray' and contribute to our heritage and future generations.

Peggie (Oeland) Albrecht (class of '72) is the current Alumni Liaison for WHHS. This is a huge project in itself, but with everyone's help the task will be much easier and the outcome more rewarding.

Have you heard about the new high school? About the Alumni Courtyard? About the Brick Pavers? About the matted and framed drawing (or notecards) of the old school building? About the Artillery Field collage on canvas? About the Alumni Legion of Honor?


What can you do to help?

We encourage you to purchase a brick paver which will be added to the Alumni Courtyard in front of the new school. Bricks cost $50 per brick.
